About The Position

Climate Control is looking for a Service Technician to add to the team. The Service Technician is responsible for the installation, servicing & repair of residential and light commercial HVAC systems.

Requirements

2+ years of HVAC installation or maintenance experience
EPA Certification
Valid driver’s license
5+ years experience as an HVAC residential service technician.
Must have a valid driver license and clean driving history.
Able to pass a background and drug screening
Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.
Must have excellent organizational skills.
Must have good oral and written communications skills.
Observe all company procedures and safety rules.
Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have basic computer skills and be able to utilize mobile device throughout the work day.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating units, air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and thermostats
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment
Perform emergency repairs and ensure timely response to service requests
Collaborate with team members to improve overall system performance and efficiency
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
Ensure all parts are loaded and accounted for per each job
Check work for errors and correct them if necessary
Maintain professional appearance with clients and customers
Abide by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental agencies
Ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected
Stay updated on industry advancements and new HVAC technologies
Other duties as assigned
