About The Position

Ed Rinke Chevrolet Buick GMC is looking for a talented and experienced Service Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting customer vehicles and for providing the highest level of customer service. This is a full-time position based in Center Line, MI.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
State or ASE automotive certifications
Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
General knowledge of automotive systems and components.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Ability to Multi-task and work with a sense of urgency.
Ability to read and understand schematics and diagrams.
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Must be proficient in the use of computer equipment.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical, and air conditioning systems.
Identify necessary parts and order and maintain an inventory of service parts and supplies.
Maintain and document records of vehicle information and repair histories.
Maintain a safe and organized workspace.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain relationships with customers.
