About The Position

PRINOTH, a multinational company (www.prinoth.com) designs and manufactures a complete range of tracked vehicles, including snow grooming and tracked utility vehicles. JOB OPENING: Service Technician (Alpine) LOCATION: Concord, NH Job summary: Reporting to Service Manager, you will be responsible for the repair & troubleshooting of vehicles in our facility and in the field Prinoth Alpine and industrial products.

Requirements

  • Mechanical degree (High School, Technical School, or College)
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred on heavy equipment or a related field
  • Ability to self-motivate and work alone
  • Knowledge of Windows environment, and MS Office software
  • Technical problem solving
  • Strong customer service attitude
  • Has full set of mechanics tools
  • Must be willing to travel frequently and spending several nights on the road when necessary.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and passport.
  • Spring and summer work schedules are typically 40 hours a week, but fall and winter work schedules will include overtime, weekends, occasional winter holidays, and on-call.
  • Must be able to travel through snow and inclement weather to reach a building or piece of equipment with tools and materials necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to spend several nights a week on the road when necessary
  • Will be required to lift, maneuver, position, remove and install heavy items. Must be physically capable of performing these tasks with assistance and alone
  • Must be able to access various components located on any portion of a piece of equipment

  • Ski Industry experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide industry leading customer service support
  • Troubleshoot all assigned vehicle/equipment systems both mechanical and hydraulic
  • Use diagnostic tools i.e. volt ohm meters, scan tools, schematics, technical documentation, laptop computer, etc.
  • Ensure work order accuracy and completion for jobs assigned
  • Perform welding/fabrication jobs when needed
  • Fill out work order paperwork, expense reports, and make own travel reservations
  • Document the correct information for warranty claims
  • Provide information to product support, engineering, and factory when needed
