Requirements

  • Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
  • Experience: 2+ years of dealership technician experience (Mercedes-Benz or European luxury preferred)
  • Certifications: Clean driving record and valid driver’s license. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications is a strong plus.
  • Commitment to quality, integrity, and guest care
  • Steady communication with advisors, dispatch, and shop foreman
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical skills; ability to follow OEM procedures
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Manual dexterity and the ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, reaching).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain Mercedes-Benz vehicles to OEM specifications
  • Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs with precision and documentation discipline
  • Communicate clearly with advisors and shop leadership to keep work flowing
  • Protect guest safety and trust through quality control and comeback prevention
  • Maintain a clean, organized bay consistent with Mercedes-Benz standards
  • Perform test drives to evaluate vehicle performance and diagnose issues.
  • Research technical information and consult with colleagues or service manuals to solve complex problems.
  • Recommend preventative maintenance services to customers.
  • Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment within the service department.
  • Other duties as assigned
