About The Position

GETNA Service Technicians provide field service support on complex electro-mechanical systems in more than 26 national locations. They perform installations, training and assist with equipment integration. In addition to technical aptitude, this high visibility, customer-centric position will also provide our customers with consistent, high-level, all-around service and attention. The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. This is a requirement for this position. All offers of employment are contingent upon one’s eligibility to obtain and maintain a government security clearance sponsored by GETNA. Unfamiliar with the Security Clearance process? No problem! Our Security Team will walk the selected candidate through the process. Security Clearance is not required prior to applying; GETNA will begin the security clearance process once the right candidate is selected

Requirements

  • Proof of U.S. citizenship required.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of State Security Clearance prior to starting work.
  • Up to 50% US domestic travel for backup coverage or for training requirements.
  • 1-year experience in a Mechatronics support role or 2-4 years Electro-Mechanical experience in a firsthand technical environment.
  • Must have a familiarity with Electro-Mechanical devices and automation equipment to include sensors, motors, pneumatics and PLCs.
  • Must have good troubleshooting skills.
  • Must have the ability to read and understand schematic diagrams/ blueprints and technical manuals
  • Competent in disassembling and reassembling complex mechanical devices.
  • Capable of working independently and effectively in a Team concept without direct supervision.
  • Proficient with MS Office business products.
  • Excellent communications skills.

Nice To Haves

  • A solid working knowledge of thermal printing or laser printers would be an asset.
  • 2-year associate’s degree in a Technical or Diagnostic field.
  • 4-year Bachelor of Science degree in technical discipline.
  • Technical military “A” or “C” school certificate in Electrical or Mechanical discipline

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and support all equipment maintenance efforts, conforming to customer Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
  • Respond in a timely manner to all maintenance calls.
  • Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and reports
  • Maintain accurate on-site service inventory at your assigned Colorado facilities.
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues the customer encounters while using our equipment and provide actionable steps to resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Maximize the availability of our equipment by training users; interpreting instructions; answering questions; and providing feedback.
  • Install, test, and calibrate machinery and components such as sensors, relays, motor, lasers and actuators.
  • Inspection of equipment and identify potential issues before failures occur
  • Contributes ideas to improving operating instructions to be used by operators, while collaborating in a Group setting.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve equipment performance.
  • Other assignments as requested by Management.
