The Maintenance/Service Technician reports directly to the Service Manager and is responsible for performing make-ready repairs to all vacant units prior to move-in. HVAC certified preferred. This role involves performing repairs to make-ready units in a timely manner, being responsible for 24-hour on-call duties as scheduled, assisting the Service Manager or Housekeeper, and helping Grounds personnel with trashing out units. The technician will also assist with inventory control, inspect property for improvements, perform work order requests, and ensure grounds are litter-free. Operating and maintaining equipment, knowing emergency cut-off locations, and performing interior/exterior painting are also part of the role. The position requires adherence to company policies, maintaining a clean maintenance shop, and being available for snow events. Professional appearance, a good attitude, and team spirit are essential, along with flexibility to assist at other sites or transfer properties if needed. After-hours on-call is required on a rotating basis, and reliable transportation is a must.
