About The Position

Fast Growing packaging equipment integrator supporting customers across Southern California and beyond is in need of a Service Technician to support installations, service, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of packaging machinery. This is a critical, high-visibility role and will be the company’s second technician, working closely with the lead tech.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of mechanical field experience
  • Background as a Service Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Line Operator, or Maintenance Manager
  • Hands-on experience maintaining, repairing, or owning uptime of equipment or production lines
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable working independently in the field and in a growing company environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of packaging equipment
  • Support new equipment installations, startups, and customer checkups
  • Service and maintain existing customer machines, including equipment not originally sold by company
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and ensure optimal machine performance
  • Work directly with customers in a professional, solutions-oriented manner
  • Collaborate closely with the lead technician on field service and installations
  • Participate in OEM and factory training, including travel to Monterey, Mexico
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and customer communication
