About The Position

The Technician – Service 1 is an entry-level position responsible for working on various vending/fountain equipment. This role involves performing mechanical service on cold drink equipment, installing mechanical components, interacting with customers, managing inventory, and utilizing Microsoft Office/Mobilizer. The technician is also responsible for maintaining the Company vehicle and performing other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Minimum age 18 years old
Valid driver’s license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 0 to 24 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
Knowledge of Basic Electrical Theory and practical applications
Ability to analyze and problem solve to respond and resolve any customer issues
Ability to work with all functional team members
Customer service oriented
Use hand and power tools

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Cold Drink Equipment or appliance repair preferred
Ability to read wiring diagrams, repair manuals and use a Multi-Meter preferred
Refrigeration Certification Type 1 preferred
