About The Position

The Service Technician at Dutch Miller Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM in South Charleston, West Virginia is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry. This position is responsible for performing a variety of skilled labor tasks related to repairing and maintaining vehicles. As a Service Technician, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of makes and models of vehicles and utilize the latest technology to diagnose and repair vehicles.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
Must have own tools
Valid driver's license and good driving record
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on vehicles
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles
Use diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately diagnose problems
Perform repairs and services in a timely and efficient manner
Communicate with Service Advisors and customers regarding repairs
Complete necessary paperwork, documentation, and maintain accurate records
Ensure work area is clean and organized
Continuously seek out and participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on industry advancements and techniques
