About The Position
Quality Equipment, a leading John Deere dealer with 36 locations across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia, is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our Laurinburg store. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of agricultural and turf equipment, contributing to our mission of being the premier John Deere dealer in the region. In this position, you will be responsible for performing basic diagnostics and repairs on various agricultural and turf equipment, as well as established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products. Your duties will include disassembling, assembling, and repairing components and machines, as well as preparing detailed reports of work performed on repair orders. You will work closely with the Service Manager to report any additional work required on equipment, ensuring safe and proper operation for our customers. The role also involves participating in training programs, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to all safety regulations. You will be expected to account for all time and materials used during your work duties, and report any issues with shop tools or equipment.
