About The Position
As a Service Technician at Liberty Propane, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of propane services to our diverse customer base, which includes residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural clients. EDP is a rapidly growing company recognized for its excellence in the propane industry, having been named one of the Top Ten Propane Marketers by LP Gas Magazine in both 2022 and 2023. Our operations span across 19 states, providing you with the opportunity to work in various environments, from rural areas to major metropolitan cities. In this position, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining propane tanks, lines, and equipment. You will conduct essential safety checks, including leak tests and pressure evaluations, to ensure the integrity and performance of propane systems. Your role will also involve troubleshooting and repairing propane appliances, as well as educating customers on safe propane usage practices. Exceptional customer service is a key component of this role, as you will be collaborating with the sales team to identify potential sales opportunities and upsell products or services. Maintaining accurate records of service calls, repairs, and inventory is essential, as is compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Staying informed about the latest trends and technologies in the propane industry will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that you provide the best service possible to our customers.
