Requirements

• Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role in the mechanical field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, air conditioning, and equipment repair techniques.
• Ability to read and understand schematics related to mechanical systems.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable.
• Proficient in welding techniques for equipment repairs.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in equipment, including air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Perform repairs on ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R units.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and functions.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Weld components as necessary to complete repairs or modifications.
• Drive company vehicles to service locations as required.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
