About The Position

The Service Technician at Ferrellgas is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining propane equipment for customers. This full-time role emphasizes exceptional customer service and requires the technician to work local routes, ensuring they are home every night, with potential on-call duties for after-hours and weekend emergency deliveries.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 or more years of related experience.
• Good driving record.
• Commercial driver's license Class B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsement preferred.
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
• Applicants must not require sponsorship for an employment visa.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and maintains propane equipment for retail customers.
• Provides emergency response and system installation and testing.
• Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads propane to and from specified destinations.
• Interacts with customers to provide exceptional service, safety information, and answers to inquiries.
• May work on propane appliances and assist with deliveries based on customer demands.
