About The Position

Blossman Gas & Appliance is seeking candidates for the positions of Gas Service Technician or Service Apprentice at our new location in Franklin, NC. We are the largest independent propane company in America, with over 80 branch locations across 12 states. Service Technicians are responsible for installing propane tanks and maintaining gas comfort equipment, while Apprentices will work alongside Technicians to gain hands-on experience and participate in training programs. The Service Technician role requires customer service skills and a commitment to safety, while the Apprentice position is open to those without prior experience but who have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Requirements

• Prior experience in propane, appliance installation/repair, or mechanical work for Service Technician position.
• No prior experience required for Service Apprentice position, but some mechanical work experience is preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

• CDL LP Certification.
• Hazmat Endorsement.
• Medical Card.
• Tanker Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Install propane tanks for residential and commercial customers.
• Service and maintain gas comfort equipment such as water heaters, dryers, ranges/stoves, fireplaces, and generators.
• Participate in hands-on training and classroom learning as an Apprentice.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Contribute to a team environment.
• Occasionally be on-call for service duties.
