About The Position

Renewal by Andersen is the custom division of Andersen Windows. Founded in 1903, Andersen Windows has been the world’s largest and most recognized brand for exclusive window and door systems. Renewal by Andersen was founded with the objective of creating a different and better window and door replacement experience for homeowners. As a Service Technician, you would ensure that our customers are happy every day! Your goal is to respond to on-site window and door service requests, where you will assess, repair, and replace parts and components to ensure proper functioning.

Requirements

• You have minimum of 1 year of experience working in general maintenance
• You have 1 year of experience performing basic home repair work, preferred.
• You're available to work Monday-Friday. Must be available to work one Saturday per month
• You have basic computer, including smart phone and email, and excellent time management skills
• You have the physical ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 pounds, climb ladders/scaffolding, stoop, bend and walk on uneven surfaces, and have good hand dexterity
• You have a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a vehicle that can transport materials and tools such as a ladder and screen
• You have the ability to perform any other duties or responsibilities deemed necessary by management

Responsibilities

• You will be working on assessing, repairing, and replacing parts and components to fix any issues our customers are having with their windows.
• You get to troubleshoot, repair, and replace window components, door panels, and hardware, including sashes, door panels, hardware, operating mechanisms, caulking, adjusting product for better functionality, and trim replacement.
• Through our training program, you will learn how to provide a high level of customer service and how to provide solutions for service issues.
