About The Position

Georgia Poultry Equipment Company, a division of Hog Slat, Inc., the world’s leading provider of parts, equipment and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries is seeking a Service Technician with excellent customer service skills and experience in electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems to join the team at our Siloam Springs, AR location.

Requirements

• Ability to use tools associated with the repair of electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems
• Approved safe driving record
• At least 2 years of prior experience repairing and replacing electrical and mechanical equipment is required

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with the poultry production industry and the poultry producers in the area preferred
• Knowledge of parts and equipment used in modern poultry production facilities
• Prior experience working with the systems found in modern poultry facilities (e.g. ventilation, feeding/watering, heating…) is preferred

Responsibilities

• Work with Georgia Poultry customers to understand their repair needs
• Give customers recommendations on the best parts & equipment available at Georgia Poultry with which their needs can be addressed
• Repair/replace faulty parts & equipment in area poultry facilities
• Properly bill customers for service work hours
• Work with the Georgia Poultry in-store team to manage warranty claims
• Take advantage of training opportunities offered by Georgia Poultry Equipment Company and by it’s vendors
