About The Position

ALL Sunshine Crane Rental Corp. seeking a Crane, Truck and Heavy Equipment Service Technician & Diesel Mechanic. Hands-on experience with cranes and lift equipment or heavy duty trucks is a big plus. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive benefits package. This position is eligible for a $300.00 sign-on bonus after 100 days of continuous employment. Essential Functions Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all makes of cranes, heavy duty trucks and other equipment Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed Reads, understands and interprets operating manuals, parts manuals, and technical drawings Positive interface with service writers, supervisor, parts department and customers Prepare proper documentation of actions taken Able to work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations

Requirements

• Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
• Must have a strong diesel engine, hydraulic and electrical background
• Must have basic set of mechanic’s hand tools
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery; to work in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidity
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Applicant must be willing to learn new computer, electronic and hydraulic systems, follow safety guidelines as they evolve in our industry, and remain certified within the various portions of our field such as assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks is a plus
• A CDL is desirable but not required
