Compensation range: $21.09 - $24.11 per hour The base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications. Requirements

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); Three years + related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced knowledge of Steelcase product lines & installation.
Working knowledge of major furniture manufacturers’ products
Ability to use hand and power tools listed under Required Tools
Must have a current, valid California Driver’s License and insurance
Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Ability to provide excellent customer service to clients
Must have mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
Requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail and safety
Must have good verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge & experience of wall mount applications (white boards, overheads, wall starts)
Knowledge & experience of power pole installation
Knowledge & experience to perform in the field, straight work surface cuts & round grommet cuts
Ability to read and interpret furniture installation drawings and blueprints
Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
Ability to install floor and wall anchors to specification

Responsibilities

Services and or repairs client-owned furniture to ensure mechanical workability and safety
Troubleshoots, repairs and identifies defects
Identifies, researches and orders necessary parts for repair
Communicates with internal and external customers regarding route scheduling and repair information
Completes warranty authorization paperwork (DSR) for warranty reimbursement
Delivers and installs system and case good furniture as directed
