DESCRIPTION The Fuel System Technician is responsible for maintenance of retail fuel system equipment including fuel dispensers, UST equipment and POS systems. Typical responsibilities include: Troubleshoot and repair Gilbarco and/or Wayne fuel dispensers, tank monitoring systems, submersible pumps, and associated underground storage tank equipment Inspect dispensers and other fuel system equipment to make necessary repairs Complete work orders as assigned in the maintenance tracking system Assist and oversee third-party service technicians Assist in training store staff to perform routine dispenser repairs using established procedures Check fuel meter calibration and oversee third-party contractor during meter recalibration Performs other duties as required and/or assigned
Requirements
- Gilbarco, Wayne and/or Veeder Root certifications preferred
- Minimum of five years of relevant fuel system maintenance or fuel system construction experience
- Ability to work 40+ hours a week
- Valid driver’s license & good driving record
- Travel required (company vehicle provided during shift)
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Rotating on-call schedule for weekends and after hour emergencies
- Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
Nice To Haves
- Gilbarco, Wayne and/or Veeder Root certifications preferred
Responsibilities
