About The Position

Service Technician I Job Summary: The Service Technician I will work closely with the Director of Field Operations , Commissioning & Warranty Manager, and other Service Technicians to ensure that the customer’s needs are satisfied appropriately and t imely . The successful candidate must be willing to travel up to 90 % of a given calendar year . As a Service Technician I, you must be willing and able to learn the intricacies of Array’s tracker portfolio, work in a team environment, and aid in retrofits, commissioning, and repowering efforts. Key Job Responsibilities: Support field efforts on the following, but not limited to: Retrofits Repowering Commissioning Service Repairs Ensure tools and equipment needed during a variety of field-related efforts are operating properly Managing Concur’s expense reporting system Submit Field Service Reports on daily activities Perform other duties as assigned At Array Tech, Inc., we strive to lead with our culture, and believe that our people are a key enabler of our future state. Requirements

  • Willingness for extensive, frequent travel – up to 90%
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • E xperience using basic hand tools
  • Basic math skills
  • Entry-level knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Entry-level knowledge of electrical systems
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer-facing presence
  • Dexterity required to perform manual labor in extreme temperatures
  • Lifting requirements: 50lbs
  • Standing hours: 7 5 %
  • Computer hours: 25 %

  • Utility-scale solar experience
  • Utility-scale construction knowledge
  • Entry-level Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • Entry-level Salesforce experience
  • Experience with Mechanical and Electrical tools
  • OSHA 10 or Higher – Preferred
  • NFPA 70E – Preferred

Responsibilities
