A Service Technician I at White Cap… Supports and conducts basic customer and warranty repairs including documenting with pictures or information. Records information about parts, materials or repair procedures. Assists with conducting inspections for preventive maintenance and repairs. Participates in performing inspections on new construction equipment from the manufacturers. Assists with installing Salesman kits on new and used construction equipment. Supports the inspection of trade-in units to prepare for sale. Participates in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and diesel and gasoline engines. Assists in selecting parts needed for estimates and repairs. Works with diagnostic tools and laptops to diagnose repairs. Generally has 0-2 years of experience. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Generally has 0-2 years of experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hydraulics and diesel engines.
  • Vocational or Technical training preferred.
