About The Position

The Team Member in this position is responsible for the maintenance and operation of treatment and disposal systems and equipment. The incumbent will perform routine to complex technical and administrative assignments including analyzing and evaluating issues related to the treatment of water and wastewater and the disposal of treated wastewater effluent; may act for the Senior Leader - Operations as directed; and do other work as required.

Requirements

• US Citizen. E-Verification required; No felonies or major misdemeanors.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year of experience in field operations 2 programs.
• Possess NC C-Well and Waste Water 2 preferred, but willing to train the right person.
• Must possess and maintain a valid North Carolina Driver’s License.
• Excellent communication skills required including demonstrated fluency with reading, writing and speaking the English language.
• Readily accessible by phone with ability to work "on-call" for emergencies.
• Envirolink, Inc. is a drug-free work place. Initial and random drug testing is required.
• Successful candidate must submit to post offer, pre-employment physical examination/medical history check.
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the 24/7 operation of the Eagle Creek and Carolina Village Waste Treatment Plant and The Carolina Village Water System.
• Maintaining chemical treatment levels
• Maintaining plant equipment and grounds
• Providing customer service
• Performing laboratory test and analysis
• Maintaining regulatory logs and records
