Your Impact We are looking for a Service Technician who will contribute to the success of the Service Team, applying their expertise in troubleshooting to support the achievement of team and company goals and deliver innovative, reliable solutions. In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams, demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and maintain a commitment to professional excellence, quality, and continuous improvement. As a Service Technician I, you’ll be addressing our customers' equipment maintenance and repair needs. The position is tasked with assuring customer satisfaction through timely and efficient maintenance and repair. The position focus is customer satisfaction and continual improvement in the quality of our products and services.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Electronics or military equivalent
  • Ability to read schematics in English
  • Knowledge of A/C and D/C converters, microprocessors, analog and digital circuits
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Some travel required
  • Team player focused on customer satisfaction and quality, with a sense of urgency

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of helium-neon lasers, diode Lasers, and/or collecting and condensing optics is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Calibrating electronic equipment
  • Developing troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Supporting customer calibration and maintenance of Particle Measuring Systems' micro contamination monitoring equipment
  • Researching customer problems and complaints
  • Acting as a liaison between customers and various departments
