Under supervision, tests, verifies, calibrates, and performs basic testing and troubleshooting on circuit boards, sub-assemblies, and ultrasound probes to assure performance to specifications. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
  • High School diploma or GED/equivalent required.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions is required
  • Requires, at a minimum, familiarity with the basic functions of digital multi-meter (DMM), Oscilloscopes, frequency counters and signal generators
  • Must have some level of understanding of analog circuit and digital circuit theory, Ohm’s law, power formulas, passive filters and basic semiconductors
  • Ability to repair products by using a history record of similar problems
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Must be willing to decontaminate ultrasound probes returning from the field.
  • Must have good hand eye coordination while using a microscope.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Must be able to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods of time and complete tasks using a microscope.
