About The Position

DARCARS Automotive Group is now hiring Service Technician! This position involves performing work specified on maintenance and repair orders on vehicles in accordance with dealership or manufacturer's standards. The technician will diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, heating and cooling, etc., to specification. The role also requires providing labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs and communicating clearly the diagnosis and repairs with other technicians as well as Assistant Service Managers (ASMs). The technician must be able to communicate complex diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance to customers who may not be familiar with automotive terminology. Continuous learning of new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions is essential to stay abreast of rapidly changing technology. Additionally, the technician will inspect and test new vehicles and record findings to ensure necessary repairs can be made. ASE Certification is a plus.
