The Used Car Technician is responsible for performing automotive repairs and service in accordance with store and factory standards. This individual utilizes their skills to diagnose and resolve the different sources of automotive problems swiftly and accurately. The Used Car Technician works with all Service personnel and management to ensure the satisfaction of our customers. Requirements

  • Automotive repair experience required
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Availability to Monday-Saturday
  • High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on all makes and models
  • Perform engine, drivability, and electrical diagnostics
  • Complete used-car reconditioning and repairs efficiently
  • Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify root causes
  • Work collaboratively with the GM, service and used-car teams
  • Maintain accurate repair documentation
  • Identify cost-effective repair solutions while minimizing unnecessary parts replacement
