The company is currently seeking an experienced (A/B) Automotive Service Technician for their Lexus of Manhattan Dealerships.

Requirements

• 3-5+ previous Technician experience
• Engine (Repair, Swap, Build), Transmission, Suspension, Diagnostics experience
• MUST HAVE NEW YORK STATE INSPECTON LICENSE

Nice To Haves

• dealership preferred
• Toyota/Lexus Technician experience preferred
• ASE CERTIFIED PREFERRED
• CDK & Dealer Daily experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Examines the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required and then notifies service advisor.
• Responsible for vehicle maintenance and proper lubrication of a car’s suspension system and other moving parts.
• Responsible for documenting all work performed.
• Road-tests vehicles when required Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Ensures cleanliness of all customers vehicles.
• Keeps shop area neat, clean, and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools.
• Understand and follows federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
• Complies with factory and state requirements for technical certifications.
• Attends factory-sponsored training classes as required.
• Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
