About The Position

At Swiderski Equipment, Service Technicians are at the heart of what we do. This role is for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in fixing things the right way, and wants variety in their day —from diagnostics and repairs to setup and installation. If you’re mechanically inclined, like staying busy, and want to build a career working on agriculture and construction equipment, this role was built for you. As a Service Technician, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain agriculture and construction equipment to keep our customers productive and running efficiently. Your work may take place in the shop or at customer locations, depending on the job.

Requirements

  • Mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Interest or experience in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems
  • Ability to use standard desktop computer applications
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to travel for training and meetings, as needed
  • Must provide own basic hand tools

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Prior experience in agriculture, diesel, or heavy equipment service strongly desired
  • Agriculture background a plus

Responsibilities

  • Performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on agriculture and construction equipment following manufacturer procedures and quality standards
  • Installing, setting up, and preparing new and used equipment for customers and dealer inventory
  • Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Completing repairs safely, professionally, and in a timely manner
  • Documenting work performed, parts used, and labor accurately
  • Providing outstanding customer service when working directly with customers
  • Managing a variety of tasks, from long-term projects to daily service needs
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Traveling to customer sites, trainings, and meetings as needed
