About The Position

The HVAC Technician is responsible for diagnosing HVAC system performance through observation, testing, and setup. This role involves servicing products and equipment on assigned projects while ensuring customer satisfaction. The technician will troubleshoot HVAC equipment, repair and replace HVAC systems, and use a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes, or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units. Additionally, the technician will disassemble and reassemble residential equipment to perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. The position requires preparing for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary. The technician will also complete documents to verify work performed in a legible manner, operate a commercial vehicle, provide and explain technical support to customers, and work a rotating on-call schedule during nights and weekends when assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years Commercial HVAC experience.
  • EPA certification.
  • Ability to lift, carry, pull and push components/equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Work flexible hours as required.
  • Ability to interpret and follow construction plans and specifications for proper installation and repair.
  • Must have valid Refrigerant Certificate for the state of Texas.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
