About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Elevator Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The Elevator Service Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of elevator systems.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of hydraulics and electrical systems related to elevator operations.
• Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals.
• Experience as an industrial mechanic or in a similar field service role.
• Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair hydraulic and electric elevators, escalators, and lifts.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including lubrication, adjustments, and component replacements.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions using specialized tools and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and any necessary follow-up actions.
