About The Position

As a Modular Home Manufacturer Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and satisfaction of our modular homes post-installation. You will play a crucial role in addressing any technical issues, conducting repairs, and providing excellent customer service to ensure the highest level of satisfaction among our clients.

Requirements

  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in construction, carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and other relevant trades.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, analyze problems, and develop effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Customer Focus: Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction at all times.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to clients and colleagues.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Team Player: Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • All candidates are subject to a background check, drug screen, and reference checks

Nice To Haves

  • Vocational training or certification in relevant trades preferred.
  • Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or a related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and Troubleshoot: Conduct thorough inspections of modular homes to identify any technical issues or malfunctions.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on various components of modular homes, including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, roofing, siding, and interior finishes.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all repairs and maintenance tasks meet the highest quality standards and comply with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Customer Service: Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns, answering questions, and providing guidance on proper maintenance and care of their modular homes.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities, including detailed notes on work performed and any recommendations for future improvements.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with other team members, including production staff, designers, and sales representatives, to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients on the use and maintenance of various systems and components within their modular homes.
  • Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
