The Service Tech Trainee is an entry-level position offering training and certification for routine maintenance and troubleshooting of customer equipment. This role requires attending company-paid training sessions, which may be outside the local area, with lodging and meals covered.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Valid State Issued Driver’s License and good driving record
Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
You will be required to pass a drug screen & background check for this position
Daily local travel
Lifting 50-75 lbs

Responsibilities

Complete petroleum service calls for our customers. This could be at retail gas stations, commercial locations, hospitals, travel stops, and government facilities.
Complete all service call paperwork after each call
Communicate with your service dispatcher and manager
Explain technical issues in a non-technical manner to the customer
Troubleshoot and repairs gasoline dispensing units (such as: Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, and Bennett) and POS (Point-of-Sale) Systems (such as: VeriFone, Gilbarco and NCR).
Install, program and tests new petroleum equipment and perform scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance to fueling systems.
Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required.
