About The Position

Comfort Systems USA - Intermountain Inc. is currently seeking a HVAC Service Technician to service the Southern Utah area. This individual is responsible for the service and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems and associated controls systems. Job functions and duties (other duties may be assigned) HVAC/R service and troubleshooting. Work without supervision to complete assignments and gain knowledge of products/processes. Safety Minded. Aware of the many potential hazards associated with our industry. Active Learning Skills. Understanding the essential need of new information and pursuing on-going training. Good communication skills. Good listener with complete tasks as instructed to help negotiate complex problems and deliver competent customer service solutions in an honest and believable manner. Team Minded. Enjoys helping others to succeed.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
5+ years of on-the-job experience
Basic mathematical, language, communication and reasoning skills
EPA 608 Universal refrigeration license
Valid driver's license
Clean drug and background history
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
Daily travel requirements with rare overnight travel.

Nice To Haves

Boiler/chiller experience, preferred
NATE Certification (preferred)
Manufacturer specific certificates
