Our Columbia, MO, office is looking for a Field Service Technician that would be dedicated to our customers in and around Columbia, MO! This individual will travel utilizing a service truck to our manufacturing customers with the goal of maintaining our onsite dock and overhead door equipment. Rite-Hite Service Technicians will install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. In addition, Service Technicians act as a technical resource for our customers and our sales force. This position works independently or in small teams in a field service environment, and is a primary customer contact.

Requirements

  • Experience welding and working with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Selected candidate must be able to work independently in a field environment.
  • Good customer service skills are required.
  • This position requires the ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds.
  • As this position requires driving a company vehicle, a pre-employment drug test and clean driving record are required, as is a DOT physical.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in the repair or installation of industrial equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities.
  • Act as a technical resource for our customers and our sales force.
