About The Position

Rite-Hite Service Technicians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. This role is crucial as Service Technicians serve as a primary technical resource for both customers and the sales force. The position requires working independently or in small teams within a field service environment, making it essential for the technician to be self-motivated and capable of managing their time effectively. As a primary contact for customers, Service Technicians must exhibit strong customer service skills and professionalism at all times. The job involves a variety of tasks, including troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, which are integral to the operation of loading dock equipment. Technicians will be expected to work outdoors and at heights, which requires a certain level of physical fitness and comfort with lifting heavy equipment, up to 100 pounds. Additionally, the role necessitates driving a company vehicle, which means that candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and maintain a clean driving record, along with completing a DOT physical.
