About The Position

As a Store Associate at Michaels in St. Augustine, FL, you will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping our store, and help them find what they're looking for. You will ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience while completing truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store. This includes maintaining store recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises. You will engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, complete enrollments, and educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey. Additionally, you will assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). Your responsibilities will also include participating in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes, completing merchandise recovery and maintenance, and supporting shrink and safety programs.

Requirements

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves.
