The Service Team Member at Michaels is responsible for delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers with their shopping needs, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. Key duties include unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, and maintaining store recovery standards to uphold Brand Promises. Team Members will help customers locate products, provide solutions, and handle cash transactions according to standards. They are also expected to engage customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, educate them on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, and assist with Omni channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). Additional responsibilities involve participating in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes, completing merchandise recovery and maintenance, performing Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties, and supporting shrink and safety programs. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company policies is required, along with interacting respectfully with others and promoting the organization's vision and values. Team Members may also be cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
