The Service Team Member at Michaels is responsible for delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers with shopping and product location, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. Key duties include truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining store recovery standards. Team members will engage customers with the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, educate them on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, and support Omni channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). The role also involves merchandise recovery, Store In Stock Optimization (SISO), and AD set duties. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs, along with supporting shrink and safety initiatives, is required. Team members are expected to interact positively and respectfully with others and may be cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production. Michaels operates over 1,300 stores in 49 states and Canada, and online, and also owns Artistree, a custom framing manufacturer.
