The Service Team Member at Michaels is responsible for delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers with shopping and product location, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. This role involves various store operations including unloading trucks, merchandising, maintaining store recovery standards, and supporting Omni channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). Team members are also expected to engage customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, educate them on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, and assist with merchandise returns and general store recovery. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies, supporting shrink and safety programs, and interacting respectfully with others are also key aspects of the role. The position requires cross-training in Custom Framing selling and production.
