The Service Team Member at Michaels is responsible for delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers with shopping and product location, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. Key duties include completing truck unloading and merchandise tasks, maintaining store recovery standards, and upholding Brand Promises. The role also involves engaging customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, educating them on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, and supporting Omni channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). Team Members participate in stocking, planogram (POGs) processes, merchandise recovery, and general store maintenance. They are also expected to perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties, support shrink and safety programs, and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company policies. The position requires interacting with others respectfully, maintaining a positive attitude, and promoting the organization’s vision and values. Team Members may also be cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
