The Service Team Member at Michaels is responsible for delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers with shopping and finding products, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. This role involves various store duties including truck unloading, merchandise handling, maintaining store recovery standards, and supporting Brand Promises. Team members are expected to engage customers regarding the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, educate them on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, and assist with Omni channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). They also participate in stocking, planogram processes, merchandise recovery, and general store maintenance. The role supports shrink and safety programs, adheres to SOPs, and promotes a positive and respectful environment. Team members will be cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production. Michaels operates over 1,300 stores in 49 states and Canada, and online. The company also owns Artistree, a manufacturer of custom and specialty framing merchandise.
