About The Position

Adams, Inc. has been a strong family-owned company since 1988. Our services range from Electrical, Solar and Smart Homes to Plumbing, HVAC and Generator-Home Backup Power Systems. We are seeking a Service Support Specialist to join our team and take on the exciting challenge of providing administrative support, assisting with customer inquiries, and maintaining efficient communication channels within our Home Services Division. The schedule for this role is primarily Monday - Friday, First-Shift Hours (exact hours may vary depending on workload). As a Service Support Specialist, you will be responsible for greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing customer inquiries, scheduling services, and ensuring an excellent customer experience by actively listening to customer needs and concerns. You will also have the opportunity to coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services, maintain accurate records of customer interactions, and provide administrative support to the service team. You will also serve as a point of contact for deliveries, which may involve driving a forklift to unload trucks. Some light office cleaning may be necessary on an "as needed" basis. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a retail or customer service role, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in basic computer applications and customer relationship management software. Additionally, the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service are essential.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or sales support role
  • Proficient in data entry, typing, use of MS Office products
  • HS Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in an eCommerce environment is a plus
