Service Support Representative I

Altec Industries, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Service Support Representative I to join our team in Saint Joseph, MO. This full-time position plays a crucial role in facilitating internal and external parts sales through the effective execution and management of the parts setup process. The representative will primarily support the Parts Sales and Service teams by ensuring quality and timely part setup requests are completed. This role involves conducting parts and purchasing research to assist in the setup of parts for sale, completing necessary steps for new item creation in parts warehouses, and maintaining Altec data related to part number maintenance. In addition to these responsibilities, the Service Support Representative will collaborate with the Purchasing team and external suppliers to assist in parts quoting, applying Altec's pricing strategy to parts for sales both externally and through Service. The position requires a strong focus on customer service, as the representative will be expected to resolve complex requests by effectively working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. The role may also involve other duties as assigned, and if the selected candidate meets the qualifications for a more experienced level, the job level may be adjusted accordingly.
