About The Position

The Service Support Associate welcomes each customer that arrives at the dealership with a warm and inviting smile, giving direction from their arrival to their departure. Customer satisfaction is the number one goal and the Valet sets the tone for the customers’ experience at the dealership.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • One year related experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

  • Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
  • Controls service traffic flow and parking.
  • Determines if customers coming into service have an appointment.
  • Records customer's name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage.
  • Assists lot attendant with duties at the service counter.
  • Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, etc.
  • Provides exceptional customer service.
  • Maintains a professional appearance.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned
  • Making coffee.
  • Inspecting the restrooms to assure they are stocked and clean. This includes all trash cans to be emptied, paper towels/toilet paper/hand soap are full.
  • The waiting area and showroom tables and chairs are properly set up.
  • Balloons are taken off each vehicle from the day before.
  • The lot is clear of trash, cigarette butts and the two front trash cans are emptied.
  • Spend the rest of the first hour of the day at the front entrance of the dealership, providing direction to customers that arrive.
  • With a smile, acknowledge each customer who enters the dealership by saying “Good Morning/Afternoon, welcome to The All New Savannah Toyota Scion, how can we help you today?
  • Give good direction as to where they need to park and always end with “Have a great day!”
  • Make a habit of smiling and waving goodbye to customers as they leave.
  • Keep the entrance free of trash.
