About The Position

The Service Supervisor oversees daily front‑end operations to ensure fast, friendly, and accurate customer service. This role supports service leadership by directing associates, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring compliance with cash handling, safety, and company procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous retail or customer service experience required
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with front‑end tasks

  • Supervisory or lead experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily front‑end operations, including checkstands, self‑checkout, and service desk
  • Ensure efficient customer flow, proper coverage, and high service standards
  • Monitor register activity and ensure accurate cash handling and transaction compliance
  • Respond to and resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly
  • Support execution of service initiatives, promotions, and loyalty programs
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all service areas
  • Train, coach, and support front‑end associates on service and operational standards
  • Assign daily tasks and manage breaks and lunches to maintain coverage
  • Provide real‑time feedback and support performance accountability
  • Reinforce attendance, appearance, and conduct expectations
  • Step in as front‑end lead in the absence of service management
  • Ensure compliance with cash control, loss prevention, and accountability policies
  • Support balancing of tills and identification of discrepancies
  • Ensure proper operation of registers, SCOs, and front‑end systems
  • Follow all company policies, labor guidelines, and safety procedures
  • Model excellent customer engagement and professionalism
  • Maintain a solutions‑focused approach to service recovery
  • Promote a positive and welcoming front‑end environment
