About The Position

The Forklift Service Specialist is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of forklifts through maintenance, repair, technical support, and related services. This role involves providing after-sales support, coordinating forklift delivery and transport, and assisting the sales team with technical expertise.

Requirements

Proven experience in forklift maintenance, repair, or related mechanical work.
Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems of forklifts.
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Valid driver’s license; forklift operation experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

Technical certification in forklift service or mechanical/electrical fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of forklifts to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Conduct on-site and in-shop service, including diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
Provide timely after-sales support and respond to customer service requests.
Assist with forklift delivery, transportation, and installation at customer sites.
Provide technical support to the sales team, including product demonstrations, specifications explanation, and solution recommendations.
Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and service reports.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during service operations.
Recommend improvements in equipment operation, preventive maintenance schedules, and customer usage practices.
Train customers or end-users on proper forklift operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
Collaborate with inventory and parts teams to ensure availability of necessary components for maintenance and repair.
