Service Sales Representative
About The Position
We are looking for a motivated Sales Representative to be responsible for the sale of Vertiv Aftermarket Maintenance Services, including Professional Assessments, Battery and Capacitor Replacements, within an assigned territory. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle, including the renewal of existing maintenance contracts, selling new contracts for equipment coming out of warranty, and converting non-contract customers or third-party service agreements to Vertiv Services. Additionally, driving sales for the Vertiv Growth Initiative is a critical aspect of this position.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS required), with a preference for degrees in Engineering or Business (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 5 years of experience in sales.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and fostering strong customer relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage and resolve client issues.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experience using CRM systems.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a technical or service-related field, ideally within power management or critical infrastructure sectors.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete sales cycle for Vertiv Aftermarket services, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Pursue warranty renewals and service contract opportunities for Vertiv’s core products, specifically Thermal and A/C Power.
- Conduct sales calls with existing and potential customers to raise awareness and drive business for Vertiv’s service offerings.
- Collaborate with equipment sales representatives to quote and promote service contracts alongside Vertiv Thermal and Power equipment
