Scope of Position: As a Service Sales Representative, you will be crucial to our business by expanding ALC’s customer base and working to exceed sales targets. We are looking for a team member who is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building relationships, has outstanding customer service skills, and has demonstrated a passion for service. This role will provide you with the opportunity to learn and develop skills essential for a successful sales career.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of service sales or service agreement direct sales experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3+ years of HVAC controls or building automation sales experience.
  • Experience in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or similar software.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to successfully work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to be able to connect with customers and other employees.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow assigned territory and group of accounts.
  • Achieve or exceed annual sales and gross margin targets.
  • Develop long-term relationships and build partnerships with assigned accounts.
  • Position Automated Logic (ALC) as the preferred BAS controls provider.
  • Tailor ALC’s service solutions to match the customers’ technical and business requirements to deliver unmatched value.
  • Utilize sales tools effectively to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunities within accounts.
  • Maintain current service agreements, while actively pursuing new agreements.
  • Generate a high level of activity to feed the sales pipeline and manage opportunities to successfully move them through the sales cycle to close.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with external customers and internal staff to deliver quality results and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Act as customers’ advocate.
