The position involves working with existing customers and finding new customers to build and maintain relationships by solving their roofing issues, which may include leak repairs, large repairs, smaller roofing projects, and safety equipment. The role requires planning a schedule to prospect, perform site inspections, generate proposals, and sell solutions for commercial roofing projects.

  • Visiting existing customers and diagnosing solutions for their immediate roof problems.
  • Researching and marketing target accounts through technology, cold calling, telemarketing, target marketing, and business development utilizing technology and company resources.
  • Managing each customer's roofing portfolios with relationships with territory managers, service teams, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Utilizing CRM to stay organized and produce reports to achieve set goals by DDP.
  • Maintaining productive relations with customers and associates to assure the company mission of delivering satisfaction and quality that meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Willingness to travel to maintain relationships and manage projects.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or vocational training in roofing or construction are desirable.
  • Proven experience in outside sales and territory management.
  • Proven experience in roof inspection, take-offs, and analysis is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and tools for data analysis, report generation, and visual representation of findings.
  • Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements, calculations, and estimations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality of work.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, lift and set up ladders, climb ladders.
