About The Position

Clifford Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Service Sales Representative. Clifford Power Systems, Inc. is a privately held corporation with a core focus on generator sales, service, and rental, with ten office locations throughout a five state region consisting of Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas. Clifford Power Systems, Inc. is committed to being the preferred leader in the power generation industry, and we are looking for a motivated individual to help fulfill this mission.

Requirements

• High School Education or equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the emergency power generation industry
• Basic knowledge of diesel and natural gas engine generators or electrical knowledge is a strong plus
• Proven track record of closing sales and obtaining new business
• Strong relationship maintenance
• Excellent customer follow-up
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Develop new business in the assigned Territory
• Maintain and improve relationships with existing and potential service customers
• Follow up with customers throughout the selling process
• Assist customers with documentation
• Assist in formulation of marketing plans for the branch
• Provide weekly contact and quote reports as requested
• Maximize Customer-Facing selling time
• Build customer relationships
• Detect sales opportunities
• Close profitable orders
• Achieve assigned sales quota
• Produce year-over-year sales growth
• Reporting & data entry: Customer Relationship Management (CRM) & Sales Forecasting
• Overnight Travel
